Obituary _ Helen Ruth Greer (I1054)

Helen Ruth Greer was born on April 27, 1957 in Kalamazoo, MI to Betty M. Greer. She was given to her aunt, Helen Haywood at an early age and raised as one of her own. Ruth passed away suddenly on July 7, 2012 after a long battle with lung cancer.

Ruth was predeceased by her mothers, Betty Greer (biological) and Helen Haywood (aunt/mother), two sisters, Linda Bragg and Jean Haywood, and two brothers, Michael Paige and Coran Williams.

She is survived by her daughter, LaKyndra (Willie) Jones, son, Jason Greer-Haywood; four grandchildren, Khalil Anderson, LaJuan, Anneka and JaKari Greer-Smith; siblings Sam, David, Lawrence and Marc Haywood, Deborah Haywood, Sharon McGlothin, Carla Brown, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Repast will begin following services at 200 Fleet Street, Hot Springs, AR
