Privacy and sharing
This page explains how the current Family & Kin tools handle information. Share only what is needed to organize your reunion.
Public and private spaces
- The public reunion welcome and its public contact details can be viewed by visitors. Do not put access codes, household details or private financial information there.
- Protected family schedules and galleries require family access. Treat a shared family code as a credential.
- A private registration link opens that household's attendees and payment summary. Anyone holding the link can use it. Keep it out of public messages and screenshots.
- Committee workspace tools require sign-in and granted permissions. Site administrators have separate support access.
Registration and payments
The site stores the contact details and attendees entered for a registration, event choices, ticket charges, recorded payments and correction history. Your committee uses these for planning, communication, balances and check-in. Offline payment methods are arranged by your family. Do not enter card numbers or bank credentials into notes or support messages.
Registration confirmations and requested recovery messages are service messages. Optional family-update preferences are separate; use the private contact-preferences link your committee sends.
Photos
Only upload photos you have permission to share. Be particularly careful with children's photos and identifying information. Gallery access controls protect the gallery page; a copied Cloudinary image URL can still be opened outside the gallery.
Hiding a photo removes it from the gallery, but does not revoke a copied image URL. Permanent deletion asks the photo provider to remove the image; cached copies may take a few minutes to disappear. Copies already downloaded or shared elsewhere cannot be recalled by the site.
Records and support
Closing a reunion preserves its records and history; it does not delete them. Financial and correction histories are retained to keep totals understandable. Backups may also contain earlier copies.
Contact your committee to correct reunion records. For an access problem, privacy request or photo concern you cannot resolve with the committee, use Support / contact. The request form stores your name, email, topic and message in the private site-support inbox. Site staff can review it, and administrators can record internal handling notes. The form does not publicly display requests.
Please explain what needs review without sending passwords, private links or access codes. A request may require verification before records or access can be changed.
Cloudflare Turnstile is used on protected forms when enabled. Photos are stored with Cloudinary. These providers process the information needed for those services. This page does not promise automatic deletion or a fixed retention period.
