This plan estimates attendance before registration opens. Revenue allocation targets help guide a discussion; the committee still reviews the final tickets.

What does makeup weight mean?
A sample group of 10 has 1 senior, 3 adults, 2 youth, 3 children and 1 toddler. Scaling that mix to 150 people gives 45 adults, for example: 150 × 3 ÷ 10.
Targets need a price review
50% of $3,200 ÷ 45 adults suggests $35.56 each. But 35% of $3,200 ÷ 30 youth suggests $37.33. That would put youth above adults, so it needs review. This committee chooses $45 adult, $35 youth and $25 child tickets instead.
The resulting revenue shares differ from the targets. Targets are not a claim that each child pays 15% of the budget.
Publish deliberately
The chosen tickets satisfy Adult > Youth > Child > Toddler. Seniors and toddlers are free here. Publishing is a real workspace action; these sample prices are illustrations only.
Expected revenue is not cash received
45 × $45 + 30 × $35 + 45 × $25 = $4,200. Against the $3,200 plan, that leaves a projected $1,000 surplus. Actual attendance, discounts, refunds and costs can change the result. Senior tickets have no required place in the adult/youth/child hierarchy.
